iFutures - Mobile Commodities Tracking App Reviews

I am an active futures trader and was looking forward to being able to go to lunch and not worry as much about pricing of my open positions. Loved the look of this and the promise to be able to customize contracts and watch lists and receive quotes albeit not in real time. Paid for and downloaded the software. Installed on iphone 3g and went to customize contracts for my holdings. The program bombed on me almost every time I customized a contract. Indexes (SP500 and emini) would deliver me a delayed quote upon saving my customized contract and refreshing the software but the currencies (GBP) would get me a delayed quote upon saving customized contract but would never update the quote after that. Sent message to Toughturtle support a week ago and am still waiting for a response. Would ask for a refund at this point but dont see a way to do that.

Great product, easy to use and support is fast. Great for the seasoned trader or beginner. 5 star

Crash problem seems to be fixed now thanks. I use this aplication frequently. Would love to see quotes going further out and spread charts.

This app is absolutely incredible for a buisness kind of guy like me, 5 Stars.

Old version worked fine, new version crashes everytime I try to update precious metals. Update: Still crashes occasionally. Not as much as before.

this app is not stable, it constantly crashes. quotes are not real time either. I want a refund!

At first it was great, got it last summer, then something went wrong with an update, and it never got addressed. Every time you hit the refresh button, it crashes, 3, 4, 5, 6 times in a row before my contracts would update. Tried uninstalling and everything they said to do, its a problem that appears to be global, I have read many complaints for the same thing. I found a better (or at least working app for now) and bought it last weekend, so far NOT ONE CRASH!!!! Sorry Toughturtle, app needs more work.

This used to be a great app before the last update. Now I dont see all of the electronic markets listed and everytime I try to refresh it to get current prices (which was done automatically at startup on the previous version), it crashes. Go back to the previous version developer. It was great until you went and screwed it up. Edit: The electronic contracts have to be selected to appear on the edit page. Actually a pretty good idea. The app still crashes when you load it and try to update the prices immediately upon opening. Get this fixed and it will go back to 5 stars like the old version.

CME & CBOT markets never update the electronic/overnight markets.

It has a FEW bugs, but they are actively improving it. I love that I can follow my trades on the road

I liked and used this app until the last update. It is no longer a functional app, although it was approximately a 20 minute delay in prices, the old version worked 24/7. The updated version took away the 24, now i only get quotes during regular stock market hours. Plus, it crashes practically every time i open it. Please dial back to previous version, it worked.

Impossible to use "contact" at web site, does not give full list of indices. I want a refund.

Avoid - save your money

Good ap that is getting better. Nice to have all this futures information in one place in an easy to use format. My only wish is for long term charts.

I like it. Would like a Candlesticks Charting feature as well as the S&Ps and ZB US 30 year. Otherwise, not to shabby.

A useless app when the quotes are several hours old. I could go to a number of web sites and get 10 minute delayed quotes for free, why pay $3 for something with 2 plus hours old quotes.

Couldnt get it to read anything more current than May 2010. Useless.

This app is crap. Never up to date and I gave them input. Obviously cutomer complaints do not work either!

doesnt update contracts. what a waste of money and time. douchebag software engineers seriously eff you queerbait this app has potential to be extremely useful, but for now its just a bunch of crap code
